Google API data
QuietInbox’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
What QuietInbox accesses
During this controlled pilot, QuietInbox uses Google OAuth with the Gmail read-only permission. It reads recent message identifiers, sender and subject metadata solely to classify messages and produce suggestions. It cannot send, move, archive or delete email.
What we store
We store the connected email address, encrypted Google access credentials, and the user’s Teach AI choices. Gmail message bodies are not stored. Learning data is isolated by account.
Use of information
Google user data is used only to provide and improve user-facing inbox classifications and suggestions. It is not used for advertising, credit decisions or training a general-purpose model.
Retention and deletion
Teach AI choices are retained for up to 180 days. A user can disconnect Gmail or permanently delete all QuietInbox account data at any time from Account controls.
Sharing
QuietInbox does not sell personal data. Data is processed only by the infrastructure required to operate the service and is not shared for unrelated purposes.
Security and control
Access credentials are encrypted. OAuth access can also be revoked from the user’s Google Account security settings.
